Hi I am a self taught watercolour artist. I draw and paint organic abstract forms and symetrical geometric logos and reciprocating patterns, I call infinity patterns. I paint these images using simple colour codes, that aim to please the eyes.

The colours that I use, are generally cadmium red, yellow ochre, burnt sienna, malachite green, pale ultramarine blue and raw umber. I do not find mixing watercolour paints neccesarry. I enjoy using my set of 36 colour kuratake watercolour paints, which I add a splash of water to the colours I plan on using. half an hour before painting.

I have been using Nicpro synthetic squirrel brushes for the last 2 years and they hold the paint very well and are precise and accurate. I have also been using nicpro mechanical pencils to sketch out patterns, and zebra disposable fountain pens, to outline designs on some of the drawings that are purely line work.
